Danielle Engel is an associate at Atkinson, P.A., where she dedicates her practice to insurance defense litigation, specifically bodily injury, property damage, and premises liability. Ms. Engel earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida State University. During her undergraduate years, she completed a congressional internship for a U.S. Senator, assisting in constituent relations and federal agency communications.

Ms. Engel went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Ms. Engel served as an Articles Editor for the Journal of International Law and Comparative Studies and authored a published article. She also gained valuable experience across both the public and private sectors – interning for a national defense firm, the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, and the NSU Disability and Inclusion and Advocacy Clinic. These experiences provided a well-rounded foundation in research, motion practice, and advocacy.
